Biography:

Dr. Paulina Kozlowski attended Stuyvesant High School in New York City, earned a B.A. in Philosophy at S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook in Long Island, New York, and her M.D. at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.

Dr. Paulina Kozlowski is currently a research scientist at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Laboratory of Pathology & Telepathology assisting on neuropathology research projects on Alzheimer-type changes in HIV infection and the role of microglial cells in the development of HIV-related encephalopathy/encephalitis, and is presently applying for a residency position in Pathology in the 2012 NRMP Match. She has a special interest in neuropathology and the practical application of digital pathology.

She is also the de facto archivist and historian of Neuroplex, compiling and digitally scanning all glass slides, and organizing all image scans and data used in past Neuroplex meetings; all the information that is currently the foundation of the Neuroplex website.
